Philosophy of care

We provide a friendly, caring environment to make the rehabilitation process as enjoyable as possible. We work with people of all ages who have suffered musculoskeletal injuries whether from a car accident, an on the job or home related injury, a sports or recreational injury or just pain of gradual unexplained onset. We are skilled in manual physical therapy and exercise prescription, the treatment approaches that have proven to be the most effective in treating musculoskeletal pain.

When people are suffering neck, back or any other musculoskeletal pain, whether it is from an injury or just of gradual onset, early active physical therapy intervention is the single most important factor in preventing the development of chronic pain and disability. When care is delayed people are eight times more likely to develop chronic pain than if they start physical therapy early on. That is why we do our best to arrange appointments within 24-48 hours to get people started moving and feeling better right away. We work to modulate the pain, restore normal motion and get patients on an exercise program that will help them get better and stay better.

We also focus on dizziness and vertigo and on older people experiencing weakness, loss of balance or difficulty walking. Such conditions are often the result of hospitalization or prolonged illness. A carefully structured, individual physical therapy treatment plan will improve overall conditioning, reduce the risk of falls and help people stay active and safe.
